Sajjan Niwas Garden

Sprawling over an are of 100 acres, Sajjan Niwas Garden is the largest and the most beautiful garden of Rajasthan. It is also known as Gulab Bagh or Rose Garden. A diverse array of uncommon roses makes this garden a big hit with tourists. It was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1850. The beautiful Pichola Lake besides this garden add more beauty to it. People flock to this garden to enjoy nature at its best. The sweet scent of roses fills your heart with love. It is a paradise for nature lovers. There is something special for your children here i.e. A smallish zoo which is a home to animals like chinkara, leopards, tigers and birds. The garden also has a library called Saraswati Bhawan Library which was built by Maharana Fateh Singh.Here you can explore the books on history, archeology, Ideology and several manuscripts from medieval period.
