Jag Mandir Kota

Kota was a part of the Rajput kingdom, Bundi. But, with the arrival of the 17th century, it gained an individual identity and established as a separate princely state. It then became a hallmark of the Rajput culture. Located in the southern part of the the state, it experiences an extreme climate with scanty rainfall.

Kota is an amazing blend of the medieval and modern age. The awesome forts, grand palaces and magnificent temples help retain the glory of the bygone era of the place. The existing industries and the on-going development has made Kota the industrial heartland of Rajasthan.

There are some wonderful sites in the city that attract a lot of tourists to this place. Chambal Garden, Jag Mandir and The Government Museum are just a few to name.
