City Museum

City museum is a part of the City Palace, the largest palace of Rajasthan constructed in granite and white marble making a perfect example of royal abode of the then Maharajas. Its foundation was laid by Maharana Udai Singh of the Sisodia Rajput clan. If you want to dwell into the past of Rajasthan, then this museum is the right place. A diverse array of artifacts such as protective gears and two-pronged sword ,collection of ancient sculptures, and inscriptions of the royal kings of the foregone era are on display here. The entrance to the museum is from 'Ganesh Deori, which means the door of Lord Ganesha.
