Guru Shikhar

It is the proud of Mount Abu and the credit goes to its height. It is popularly known as the saint's pinnacle. It is the highest peak of Aravali. Climb this peak and get rewarded by a thrillingly beautiful view of the city. Apart from it you can pay a visit to the temple situated at this peak, Guru Dattatreya temple. It is believed that Dattatreya was a sage who was an embodiment of the Divine Lord Brahma,Vishnu and Siva. His foot prints can also be seen inside the temple. Another attraction here is a historic bell supported by a wooden frame. It has has Gujarati inscription on it. There is another temple devoted to the sage couple Atri and Anasuya. It is believed that Dattatreya was their son given by Lord Brahma,Vishnu and Siva.
