Kanak Vrindavan Garden

Gardens in Jaipur are also great attractions for tourists. The splendid Kanak Vrindavan Garden reflects royalty in its architecture-it is a perfect blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. It is located at the bottom of Nahargarh Fort and in close vicinity of Amber fort. The garden is also known as Kanak Ghati. It is an ideal place to enjoy your leisure in the lap of mother nature. According to a popular belief Ashwamedh Yajna was performed here. For that water from several rivers was gathered. The garden has several fountains, fountain called 'Parikrama' has been carved out of a single piece of marble. Wide variety of shrubs, plants, flowers and trees makes the ambiance of the garden very healthy. There is temple named Govind Deoji Temple which can cater to your spiritual side. The carvings and the mirror work of the temple attracts the attention of the tourists. Many scenes from Bollywood movies have also been shot here which shows how beautiful it must be. Go and find it for yourself. You can pay a visit to the garden any day before 5 pm and the temple remains open till 7 pm.
