Katariasar Village

Katariasar village is located on the Jaipur road and is 45 km from Bikaner. Tourists who are desirous to see the rural culture of Rajasthan must pay a visit to this village. How about a camel ride on the sand dunes! The Sun rays falling gracefully on the sand making it look golden is a delightful sight. Veiled women balancing 3-4 pictures of water on their head give an insight into the rural life. Jasnathjis are the main dwellers here who are mainly engaged in dairy farming. They are famous for their fire dance which involves a great deal of risk. The village abounds in chinkaras, desert fox, rabbits, peacocks and parrots.
