Elephant Festival

Elephant festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This adventurous festival is celebrated between March to April every year on the occasion of Holy(the festival of colors).Elephants take the center stage in this festival. Elephant sports are the highlight of the event. Elephants are adorned in beautiful attires,with colorful flowers adding to the charm. The festival is celebrated in Chaugan ground of Jaipur. It kicks off with a parade of Elephants marching wonderfully leaving the audience transfixed. Elephant races and elephant polo are also a part of this festival. Many other competitions are also held to add charm to the festival and 'best decorated elephant' is one of them. Mount on the elephants and enjoy the festival of colors.
